Pathogen

VIDAS® and mini VIDAS® are automated food pathogen detection systems designed to provide reliable and efficient microbiological screening for food and environmental samples. Using Enzyme Linked Fluorescent Assay (ELFA) technology and ready-to-use reagents, the systems can detect major foodborne hazards including Salmonella, Listeria spp., Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli O157, Campylobacter, and staphylococcal enterotoxins. Their flexible, multiparametric design helps laboratories standardize routine testing while delivering rapid and traceable results backed by internationally recognized validation methods.

Bacterial Identification

VITEK® 2 Compact and API® provide complementary solutions for accurate microbial identification in food and industrial laboratories. API® uses established biochemical identification strips for manual phenotypic identification, while VITEK® 2 Compact automates the identification process using biochemical cards and an extensive microorganism database. Together, these solutions help laboratories identify and confirm a broad range of bacteria, yeasts, and other microorganisms while improving workflow efficiency, traceability, and consistency in microbiological testing.

Enumeration

TEMPO® is an automated enumeration platform designed to simplify and accelerate the analysis of food quality indicators in food products and environmental samples. Based on the Most Probable Number (MPN) principle and a miniaturized card containing 48 wells, TEMPO® automates key stages of microbial enumeration while reducing manual preparation and eliminating the need for serial dilution. The system supports testing for parameters such as total aerobic flora, Bacillus cereus, Campylobacter, coliforms, E. coli, and other quality indicators, helping laboratories improve productivity, traceability, and process control.

Commercial Sterility

CHEMUNEX® D-COUNT® is an ultra-rapid microbial detection and enumeration system designed for commercial sterility testing and quality control throughout food and beverage production. Using flow cytometry and automated viable-cell labeling technology, D-COUNT® detects bacteria, yeasts, molds, and spores in raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Its rapid and objective testing approach can significantly shorten traditional incubation and product-release times, making it particularly useful for UHT dairy products, plant-based beverages, juices, desserts, fermented products, and other applications where early spoilage detection is critical.

Beverage Spoilage Test

VERIFLOW™ and GENE-UP® provide rapid molecular solutions for detecting microorganisms that can compromise beverage quality and shelf life. VERIFLOW™ uses DNA Signature Capturing Technology and ready-to-use assays for identifying spoilage organisms in beer, wine, and juice, while GENE-UP® uses real-time PCR technology for rapid and sensitive microbial detection.
